Eco Friendly Fair Trade Stools

Here at Jack In The Green we love Fair Trade and eco friendly products.

In the photograph you can see a beautiful pink stool. These stools are one of my favourite products in the shop. Made in India the women make the cushioned top and the men make the wooden legs. The wood is sustainable sourced wood from managed forests. The fabric top is made from recycled saris. Fair Trade is about social justice supporting disadvantaged groups across the world. This product encompasses all the things I believe are important to Live With Art And Soul.

I have some of these stools myself. They are great as footstools and work well for meditation as well. I take them away when I go camping. Practical and stylish they make for a great glamping experience We have various colours available and as they are handmade using recycled materials so no two are the same. :-)

PS The other items you can see have all been ethically sourced. The silver leaf jewellery is locally made by Sophie from Macclesfield. The little porcelain fairy is made by Karen a gifted artist who channels the spirit of all things fairy. We have other lovely handmade items in stock too. :-)
